Jellywolf, Glastonbury’s very own dark-pop clothing label, was born from the egg of a bunch of friends and artists from the hilly countryside region of Somerset, last year. “Rather than spending our days drawing on each other, we thought, why not draw on some clothes instead” And as if by magic! Et Voila! Jellywolf was born.

Currently based mainly in Bath and Somerset, and still in the early stages of the label, the collective are currently getting their cooler-than-a-Shoreditch-scenester-with-a-trilby-hat designs out on the market by getting involved with bands and artist from across the country. “We’re willing to endorse any bands, as long as we like what they’re doing.”

Currently, the band they are hooking arms with is one of the Uks favourite electro/chip-tune acts of the moment, YOU LOVE HER COZ SHES DEAD. You’d probably recognise the name from the latest series of channel E4s SKINS, with YLHCSD gracing your screens throughout various episodes in the series (but maddog covered them first months ago). Jellywolf have also recruited the bands very own Jay Dead as one of their latest models for the brand.

When asked about their plans for getting the brand to become a house-hold name, the guys are still pretty modest, though: “Maybe one day there could be a Jellywolf store, but there are no plans for world domination just yet. Jellywolf is really just a platform with which to share our artwork with others, rather than just having it displayed at an exhibition. Jellywolf as a brand is still pretty new, we don't want to get too big for our boots anytime soon.”

“Part of Jellywolf’s ethic is to create rare items, because when we’re out clothes-hunting, it’s the rare or different pieces we like to find ourselves, so we are very interested in making very limited designs on occasions, and supporting local artists whether music or art based if we can.”
