MD: You've got a pretty awesome sound going on. How would you describe it to the uninitiated?

Uh Ohs: Fast, heavy pop songs that'll make you dance and make you feel dirty.

MD: The Norwich scene seems pretty vibrant at the moment, what's your take on it? Are there any local bands that have been a big influence on you?

Uh Ohs: You only have to look at the 130+ bands on the HCS poster to see the diversity of talent coming out of Norwich at the moment, and there's probably the same amount again that aren't playing. It's a special time for the Norwich scene. There are a lot of local bands we love, but we wouldn't say we're influenced by them.

MD: You've got a couple of single releases on the way - are you working on an album?

Uh Ohs: Our new single 'I Can't Wait'/'I Am Underdog' is out now on Little Power Records and we have another single out in the Autumn on Cherryade Records, which we're looking forward to. We're busy writing at the moment and hope to release our debut album next year.

MD: How does playing Hot City sounds compare to any other events?

Uh Ohs: It’s a cool event, which we’re proud to be involved with. It's always really fun to play with other bands we know.

MD: You've got a gig coming up at the Buffalo Bar, which is an important venue for the twee core movement (spear headed by Bear Suit in Norwich). Do you feel any kinship to that scene?

Uh Ohs: To be honest no, not particularly, but we think anything which promotes local music is a good thing.

MD: How does the band dynamic work as a three-piece - how do you still manage to be so noisy?

Uh Ohs: Controlled volume at the appropriate times!

MD: There's got to be a story behind your name - come on dish it up.

Uh Ohs: It came from a friend's gig flyer that said "UH OH! It's The Flicks!" They're now called Slimb Limbs and we have them to thank.

MD: Colemans mustard - yah or nay?

Uh Ohs: Nay, we prefer ketchup!
