Well Maddogs, I should probably tell you something about the new trends for this season. But I’ll start, instead, with an anecdote. I was walking through a forrest en route to an abandoned house in cambridgeshire this month (see our second photo shoot) with a bunch of beautiful boys and girls, and couldn’t help but stop to think; “You know what? This is pretty damned cool, and not because some small bald man in Milan told me so. We buy things that we like, and they (whoever this intangible ‘they’ are) make money and so it repeats. But enough pseudo socio-analytical babble, if you really are the kind of person who won’t go to the racetrack without betting on a sure-thing I think this spring you’re going to see: abstract prints, sportswear inspired attire, innocence, romanticism and refreshingly a revival of classic buy-now-wear-forever pieces.
Our shoots this month include an homage to the credit crunch where we mixed the best of Ipswich fashion with pieces lovingly scavenged from charity shops and also as previously mention a bunch of lovely things from cambrige freezing their respective genitalia off in the woods.
Thanks this month to:
Everyone who lent us clothing: Urban Vintage, The Bassment, Aura, Republic, Cat/Dogfish, Mayhem. Lemontree Studios for kindly lending us their facilities. Leeigh Hair. James the mysetious stranger for being our guide through the woods of Cambridgeshire and everyone else credited below for being up at ridiculous times in the morning/braving the freezing cold in the middle of nowhere.
